It is hard to believe but the Holidays are here. Below is a list of upcoming events:

Saturday, November 26th – We need volunteers to come down to the hall starting at 1:00PM to help decorate. With our many events coming up this is a great way to help out even if it is just for an hour.

Sunday, December 4th – Starting at 11:00AM we will be having our yearly service for departed members. Then at 12:30 the Annual Children’s Christmas Party! Please remember to bring a wrapped gift for your child. There will be refreshments, a magician and of course the big man himself, Santa.

Saturday, December 10th – The adult Christmas Party will kick off at 7:ooPM down at the hall. Price is $10 per person for an open bar, good friends and the Holiday spirit!

49th Annual Clam Bake – September 10th 2011

Our Annual Clam Bake will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2011! If you only come to one event this year make it the Clam Bake. We will have live music and games for the kids! Tickets go on sale at the Lodge on July, 20th. The price will be $30 a person ($35 after August 31st!), children ages 10-15 $20 and kids under 10 years old are free! See you there…

Memorial Day Parade 5/30/11

The 2011 Memorial Day parade will kick-off from George Street at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011. The approximately 45 minute parade will conclude at the newly renovated Huyler Park across from our beautiful, historic Tenafly Railroad Station. Ceremonies will be held at this time honoring Tenafly’s war veterans. There also will be a Bandstand Dedication following the veterans’ ceremonies.

After both ceremonies, all are invited to a party at the Elk Club at 20 Franklin Street for light refreshments.

We could use a hand for the cooking and set-up/clean-up so come on down and help celebrate all those who have served!

Elk of the Year Event 3/18/11 8PM!

Wake the kids and tell the neighbors because Lodge 2271′s famous Elk of the Year Party is back! On Friday, March 18th at 8PM come down to the Lodge for one of the biggest events of the year. For only $35 per person there will be an open bar for three hours, one of our renowned buffets, DJ and dancing and time with good friends. Business casual attire is required. See your there!

Super Bowl Party!

The Packers vs. the Steelers! Come on down to Tenafly Elks Lodge 2271′s annual Super Bowl Bash! For only $15 for adults (children under 12 free!) you can come down and see the game on our HDTVs, enjoy great food and watch the game with your friends. Festivities kick off at 4:00 PM. Monday Night Football Club Members are free! Make your plans to watch the big game down at the Elks!
